The City of Savannah is excited to invite experienced and talented artists to submit proposals for an asphalt art installation that will create traffic calming and slow down motorists. This public art initiative aims to transform urban space into a vibrant and engaging visual experience, creating a sense of place and community while enhancing road safety with a primary focus on pedestrian safety in one of our local communities. We are seeking artists with a strong portfolio of past works and a compelling proposal for the creation of an eye-catching, durable, and meaningful asphalt art installation that effectively promotes traffic calming. The installation will be located between the intersections of Cynthia St. and Delano St. along Cloverdale Dr. in the Cloverdale neighborhood. Only electronically submitted bids through the supplier portal will be allowed. To submit pricing electronically for this event, enter pricing for each line item shown under the lines tab on the event summary. Large files may need to be split up and uploaded as multiple attachments.
