NEA Grants and Honorifics Informational Webinar

NEA Grants and Honorifics Informational Webinar

Join staff from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for an introduction to grant opportunities, focusing on Grants for Art Projects, and the National Heritage Fellowships program. Open to the public, this informational webinar will have a special focus on NEA support for living traditions/folk & traditional arts. This artistic focus contains a wide range of community practices that are rooted in and reflective of the cultural life of a community. Community members may share a common ethnic heritage, cultural mores, language, religion, occupation, or geographic region. Vital and constantly reinvigorated, these artistic traditions are shaped by values and standards of excellence passed from generation to generation, most often within family and community, through demonstration, conversation, and practice. Genres of artistic activity include and are often a combination of music, dance, crafts, and oral expression.

There will be time for questions at the end of the webinar. It will be recorded, and those who register will receive a link to the event recording.
